ABOUT MELISSA WANG STUDIO
I am an artist and designer serving East Bay and the greater San Francisco Area in California, United States. My mission is to create art experiences that elevate social and ecological awareness.
In late 2019, I left a full-time role as a designer at Facebook (now Meta) to pursue my dreams of becoming an artist. I was burnt out by a bottomline that monopolizes humanity’s attention for profit.
Art has empowered me to reconnect with my imagination, express my true self and manifest the beauty I wish to see. The act of creation is as integral as the instinct to make fire. Through a workshop or a commission, I’m excited to nourish your inner creative spark into a bonfire of joy.
CLASSES & WORKSHOPS
I offer private lessons and workshops. I love hosting beautiful and joyful experiences where people can learn something new, meet like-minded artists, and walk away with a beautiful piece.
I have 12+ years of corporate training experience, 4+ years of university-level teaching and private tutoring experience with children (7+) and adult learners. I have led art workshops at SONY & Meta.
